One pill changed Nick’s life.
Nick was a son, Nick was a brother, Nick was a friend and Nick was a defender.
Nick Cody was someone who loved life, so much so that he’d proclaim he wanted to live forever. He was kind hearted, brave, adventurous, always the first to help someone in need and simply hilarious. He was the first to snow board down the toughest hill, and he was the one who got everyone laughing at the dinner table (and classroom).
Growing up, Nick always hated drugs, but that was not enough to stop them from taking his life. Nick suffered from a problem with drugs, and ultimately this disease took everything away from Nick, and ultimately took Nick away from everyone who loved him. Nick would be so proud to have this proposed bill in his name, the education and awareness Nick’s Law can bring, and knowing the impact it could have in helping others like him.
One pill took everything away from Nick and one pill took Nick away from everyone who loved him.
Join MPP Lisa MacLeod and the family and friends of Nick Cody as we launch an awareness campaign to support Nick’s Law. Nick’s Law is a bill before the legislature that was introduced by MPP Lisa MacLeod that would require at least 10 percent of the government’s advertising budget to be allocated to education and awareness campaigns on the risks of taking opioids, fentanyl and fentanyl laced counterfeit drugs.
Show your support for Nick’s Law today by signing the petition and help us combat this crisis.
